Fair housing
Equal Housing Opportunity
Lee County Realty is committed to fair housing and equal opportunity. We follow the federal Fair Housing Act and the Georgia Fair Housing Act in everything we do, from advertising to showing homes to negotiating offers.
Our commitment
It is illegal to discriminate in the sale, rental or financing of housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap (disability), familial status or national origin. We do not, and will not:
- ask about or record any of these characteristics on an inquiry or client file;
- steer anyone toward or away from a neighborhood;
- describe a neighborhood by who lives there; or
- target or exclude anyone in our advertising on the basis of any protected characteristic.
We show every buyer every home that fits the criteria they give us, and we present every offer to our sellers.
If you believe you've experienced discrimination
You can contact us directly at (229) 894-8280. You can also file a complaint with either of these agencies. Complaints generally must be filed within one year of the discrimination.
